Bariatric with Urethane Arm
Sittris BA is specifically designed with the needs of obese and severely obese patients and their guests. Simply making seating wider and adding a support bar does not fully address the issues of bariatrics. The pitch of the back, which is designed to relieve pressure off the user's diaphragm, the elevated height of the armrests (27.5"), and the 30" seat width, all ensure that Sittris BA will comfortably seat the majority of bariatric patients. Sittris BA is reinforced and structurally sound, built to accommodate weights of 500 pounds, which meet the requirements of BIFMA Standard X5.4-2005.
Available with urethane arms or armless, Sittris BA can be upholstered in our anti-bacterial advanced technical textiles or any of our environmentally-friendly synthetic leathers, making it ideal for patient areas, lobbies, waiting rooms, and clinics.
